Counselling: Individual, Families, and Perinatal
We offer counselling support for children (ages 5+ years-old), teens, parents, and families. Individual counselling is offered in-person (in Parry Sound and Huntsville) and virtually.
Our counselling services are provided by Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying). SYC is committed to supporting the education and development of future counsellors, and includes student interns in its team roster under the Clinical Director's supervision.

Family Counselling: including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A)
Family counselling is offered in-person and virtually, for families dealing with challenging issues, like: conflicts, transitions, communication breakdowns, navigating a child’s big emotions, managing substance (mis)use, self-harm, or suicidal thoughts. Family counselling includes the offering of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A).

Coaching & Consultations
Our coaching and consultation services provide personalized strategies and support to help you build stronger connections and navigate difficult situations with confidence. These include tailored strategies to support transitions and routines at home and school, big emotions (and dysregulation), education advocacy, and working within neurodevelopmental systems.
These services are offered in-person and virtually by SYC team members, but may not be provided by a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying). SYC is committed to supporting the education and development of future counsellors, and includes student interns in its team roster under the Clinical Director's supervision.
